Before I go...here's two of my favorite plates from our week here at home in Portugal. Both are from the same meal...it was a very good night at O Palacio Restaurant in Alcantara. Steamed clams in wine for our appetizer (make your own following this recipe) and this once-in-a-lifetime seafood spread shared among friends. Unforgettable!
